Abstract
The control B.M.R. in ovariectomized adrenalectomized rats was 20-25% below normal. Thyroid feeding for 3 days brought the value to 75% above normal. Inj. of 10 mg. of stilbestrol 3 times daily following cessation of thyroid adm. brought about a return to the hypothyroid level in an avg. of 14 days, while uninjected controls required an avg. of 25 days for a return to the low values. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
