Abstract
An interpretation of the photoelectron satellite spectrum of Xe at 33-eV photon energy is proposed. On the basis of an extended analysis of the Xe ii spectrum it is shown that an interpretation in terms of satellites can explain the strength of the spectrum relative to the main line as well as the occurrence of new satellites at low photon energy.
