Abstract
ENG is the most satisfactory method for nystagmus recording and for scientific purposes it has been developed to the point where it is a very reliable tool. Simplified commercial types of ENG apparatus are available and permit recordings of vestibular examination, so that all relevant parameters can be registrated objectively. The advent of special types of semiconductors has permitted the construction of telemetry systems for ENG. One of the advantages of using radio transmission is, inter alia, that vestibulo-ocular as well as vestibulo-spinal reactions may be investigated simultaneously. Keywords
