Abstract
These are recommendations of the IUB‐IUPAC Joint Commission on Biochemical Nomenclature (JCBN), whose members are J. F. G. Vliegenthart (Chairman, The Netherlands), A. Cornish‐Bowden (Secretary, UK), J. R. Bull (South Africa), M. A. Chester (Sweden), C. Liébecq (representing the IUB Committee of Editors of Biochemical Journals, Belgium), G. P. Moss (UK), J. Reedijk (The Netherlands), J. C. Rigg (The Netherlands) and P. Venetianer (Hungary). Comments may be sent to G. P.
