Abstract
Although the importance of thrombus in acute coronary syndromes is clear, the relative contribution of thrombus and plaque to an acute occlusion is generally unknown. We describe the use of intracoronary ultrasound imaging to evaluate the composition of a lesion in a patient with evolving myocardial infarction. Keywords
