Abstract
The level of carotene, vitamin A, and related pigments in normal peripheral bull frog nerves, and in nerves of fasting frogs was detd. The level drops fairly rapidly and may be very low within 3-4 weeks. It may be rapidly raised by feeding the pigment.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
