Abstract
Light petroleum extract of the roots of Tectona grandis afforded lapachol, dehydrotectol, tectoquinone, β-sitosterol; the methanol extract gave munjistin and ethanol extract yielded β-lapachone, dehydro-α-lapachone and tectol. From the light petroleum extract of the roots of Gmelina arborea, hentriacontanol–1, a sesquiterpene, ceryl alcohol, β-sitosterol, and n–octacosanol have been isolated and in addition, the aqueous extract gave gmelinol. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
