Abstract
The role of phytophagus, predaceous, parasitic and saprophagous mites found in stored grain in Oregon, Washington and Idaho is discussed. The ecological interrelationships of granary mites with other members of the granary community also are reviewed. A checklist of granary mites found in the Pacific Northwest is included, with species arranged as to food preferences. Keywords
