The synthesis is described of certain peptides and derivatives including benzyloxycarbonyl-L-leucylglycylglycylglycyl-L-leucylglycylglycylglycyl-L-leucylglycylglycylglycine. The work affords some comparison between two standard methods of peptide synthesis applied in aqueous alkaline media.
