Abstract
In a systematic search for risks associated with the consumption of alcohol and tobacco in relation to cancers of the digestive tract, oesophageal cancer was found to be significantly related to both factors. There was a slightly elevated risk for rectal cancer among alcohol consumers as well as a lower risk for gastric cancer. With the exception of oesophageal cancer, none of the other digestive tract cancers were found to be associated with tobacco consumption. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
