Stopping ofπ-Minus andK-Minus Mesons on Hydrogen in Nuclear Emulsion

Abstract
We show that the experimentally observed fact that the number of mesons stopping on hydrogen in nuclear emulsion is significantly larger than the number of is consistent with other known properties of these mesons. The reason is chiefly that the zero energy cross section is anomalously low.
