Abstract
Six patients with ovarian and uterine neoplasms of the pelvis were treated with embolization of the internal iliac artery. The technique was used for the control of hemorrhage and pain and preoperative devascularization. No complications or serious side effects occurred. Embolization of the internal iliac artery often provides a therapeutic alternative, when a surgical procedure is not feasible. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
