Abstract
Systematic chemical investigation of Tinospora cordifolia Miers has yielded a new phenolic lignan along with the known compounds octacosanol, nonacosan-15-one, and β-sitosterol. This lignan has been shown by a combination of spectroscopic and chemical methods to be 3-(α,4-dihydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl)-4-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl)tetrahydrofuran (1).This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
