Abstract
The large-dimensional approach to atomic physics is extended to accommodate mass-polarization and recoil contributions. This approach, which does not rely on partitioning of the potential into subterms, but instead treats the Hamiltonian for large dimension exactly and incorporates corrections order by order in the dimension, is of interest for exotic atoms and molecules. Application of the results to the helium atom and the dimuonic-helium ground-state energy is considered. Keywords
