Abstract
Only a few reports of congenital meatal atresia and microtia have been published and both dominant and recessive modes of inheritance were suggested. A family with 5 affected members in 2 generations is reported. An irregularly dominant transmission for this syndrome, which can result in hearing loss, seems to be the most likely explanation. Keywords
