Abstract
The discrete electro-oculographic control system (DECS) has been developed as a communication tool for persons with severe handicaps. The system can be used as a means of adaptive control allowing persons with handicaps, especially those with only eye motor coordination to live more independent lives. This paper provides initial information about the design and capability of the DECS.Keywords
