Abstract
This paper reports the anamnestic-like production of staphylococcal antibodies evoked by injecting rabbits with Listeria monocytogenes serotype 1. The reciprocal reaction did not occur. Staphylococcus epidermidis antiserum drops in agglutinin titer for S. epidermidis antigen after absorption with formalinized Listeria. Listeria antiserum did not drop in agglutinin titer when absorbed withS. epidermidis. Keywords
