Abstract
A framework for retaining information about the sphingolipidoses outlines the catabolism of sulfatide, sphingomyelin, globoside, and ganglioside GM1 and gives structural details of a few constituents of these four sphingolipids. The framework is modifiable for inclusion of additional details and new data. Keywords
