Abstract
Oral administration of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to rats elicited a systemic and mucosal antibody response in the intestinal and respiratory tracts. The antibody response did not influence the course of the disease when immunized animals were subsequently challenged by the introduction of viable bacteria into the lungs. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
