Abstract
The chromophore of phytochrome, the plant photomorphogenic pigment, was cleaved from the associated protein. Chromatographic and spectral properties indicated that it was a bilitriene closely similar to but distinct from the chromophore of C-phycocyanin and allophycocyanin. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
