Use of unresolved transition arrays for plasma diagnostics

Abstract
The use of unresolved transition arrays for the determination of plasma temperature is described. A compact low-resolution spectrometer, based on this technique, which yields both temporally and spatially resolved data, has been constructed. It may be developed easily into a real-time device.Keywords
