Abstract
The temperature-slip problem is solved exactly by means of the Wiener-Hopf technique. An exact solution is made possible by employing the generalized BGK model of scattering with a constant scattering cross section. An explicit expression is obtained for the temperature-slip coefficient and used to assess the accuracy of the variational method proposed by other authors. Keywords
