Abstract
Methods of microdifferential thermal analysis (DTA), simple thermal analysis using one thermocouple, and the change of electrical resistance of mercury during melting under high pressure are used to calibrate the pressure coefficient of a manganin coil. It is shown that the methods of microthermal analysis under isobaric conditions yield satisfactory results and are easier to operate than the usual isothermal methods. Keywords
