Abstract
Arrhenius parameters have been determined for the protolysis of trimethylphenyltin. Rate equation of the iododemetalation of trimethylphenyltin and trimethylphenyllead have been established. Second order rate constants at 23°C have been calculated for these reactions. A positive salt effect has been observed for the iododemetalation of trimethylphenyltin.Keywords
