Abstract
The medulla in the lower regions of a growing mouse hair contains a very regularly spaced column of cell nuclei. The total number of nuclei 3 days after irradiation in this column (from its lower recognition point to the point of terminal differentiation and nuclear degradation) proves to be a sensitive indicator of the level of radiation exposure. This publication has 20 references indexed in Scilit:
