Abstract
Precleaning, washing, steaming plus washing, and steaming plus hot alkaline scour result in statisti cally significant decreases in the gram-negative organism counts and the endotoxin content of the cotton and of the airborne dusts in the model cardroom when the cotton is carded.Keywords
