Abstract
Summary: The findings in nine cases of Melkersson’s syndrome are presented. It is suggested that this condition is less uncommon than is generally realized. A careful personal and family history should be taken in all cases of Bell’s palsy, and the tongue examined, if this syndrome is to be recognized. Observations are made on the possible aetiology and on treatment. Keywords
