Abstract
Thermomagnetic gas torque experiments on dilute polyatomic gases indicate that a circumferential flow of gas exists in the annular space between inner and outer cylinders when a temperature difference and an axial magnetic field coexist. Experiments on a hollow pendulum show that the torques on the inner and outer cylinders are in opposite directions. Keywords
