Abstract
Primary thrombosis of the subclavian vein occurred following very trivial mechanical strain in an otherwise healthy young male. Treatments consisted of rest, local applications, and anticoagulants. The patient returned to work within 4 mos. A resume of the cases in the literature is given.Keywords
