Abstract
Summary: The outcome of 84 treated pregnancies of 73 latent diabetics and of 35 treated pregnancies of 31 potential diabetics has been compared with the outcome of their previous pregnancies. Treatment consisted of insulin and carbohydrate enriched salt‐free diet. This treatment increased the fetal salvage from 60 per cent to 89.5 per cent in latent diabetics and from 39 per cent to 89 per cent in potential diabetics. Keywords
