Abstract
The focus of this study was to discover the experiences of Mexican Americans receiving professional nursing care. The purpose of this study was to explore the care experiences, views, patterns, and meanings of Mexican Americans who have received professional nursing care. The need for this study arises from nursing's lack of knowledge regarding the experiences and cultural values of Mexican Americans receiving professional nursing care and how these values influence the health and/or well being of Mexican Americans. Keywords
