Abstract
Experiments were conducted to measure the maximum isometric horizontal push forces exertable in 65 common working positions. The subject (45 male college students), while pushing horizontally, either anchored their feet against a footrest or braced themselves against a vertical wall. Means, standard deviations, and 5th percentiles of the forces exerted are reported. Keywords
