Abstract
This paper briefly describes the current status ofour research. We also discuss some of its limitationsand present a new algorithm that addresses these limitations[10]. This algorithm dynamically supportsboth deterministic and nondeterministic processes, and allows processes to individually switch betweenusing message logging and checkpointing or usingcheckpointing alone.2 Current StatusKeywords
