Abstract
Generalized Brueckner-Hartree-Fock (BHF) and renormalized BHF (RBHF) calculations of and have been performed. They are exact, including fully self-consistent single-particle energies and wave functions, except for the truncation of the expansion into oscillator states and the assumption of spherical symmetry. The trends of earlier approximate calculations essentially are confirmed.
