Abstract
The capacity of this line is many times that of previous dc lines, and its length far exceeds that of any line, dc or ac, now existing. Lacking operating data on overhead dc lines, criteria were based largely on tests at the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) dc test center.Keywords
