Abstract
Error-free optical code-wavelength conversion is demonstrated for the first time at 1.24 Gbit/s by using 4-chip bipolar optical codes. This functionality is crucial to the cross-connect and add/drop multiplexing in future hybrid OCDM/WDM transport networks. Keywords
