Abstract
The formation of a successful graft union depends on a complex series of interactions which take place between the cells of the stock and scion. As a result of these interactions processes which normally operate within the plant before the scion is separated from the stock are stimulated and redirected. In this paper the general nature of these processes is examined and related to the organisation of the intact plant. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
