Abstract
The theory of operation for a terrain-sensitive propagation path loss model based upon the geometrical theory of diffraction, modified for finite conductivity and local surface roughness, is offered. An evaluation of this new model's performance with respect to the contemporary Longley-Rice point-to-point model is provided by comparisons of modeled and measured data. Keywords
