Abstract
Computed tomography (CT) of the thorax and mediastinum is helpful in categorizing lesions initially identified on plain radiography. This paper describes how CT was used to identify and characterize lesions of the right cardiophrenic angle [of humans] based primarily on their density. The probability of benignancy or malignancy can be suggested, thereby hastening the diagnostic workup and better defining subsequent therapy. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
