Abstract
The Tenthredinoidea of Rosa spec. In connection with research on biological control measures against Rosa rubiginosa in New Zealand the Tenthredinids of Rosa spec. were studied in Austria by the Commonwealth Inst. of Biol. Control (CIBC), European Station, Delémont. 23 species were collected, belonging to the families of Tenthredinidae (15), Argidae (4), Pamphilidae (2) and Cephidae (2). In Part I distribution and abundance of the species as well as their preference of biotops are described. Keys of egg‐depots and of larval characteristics are given. Part II deals with the most important dates of bionomy of the 23 Tenthredinids. Many of these dates are based on own new observations.Zusammenfassung: Im Zuge einer geplanten biologischen Bekämpfung von Rosa rubiginosa in Neu‐Seeland wurde vom Commonwealth Institute of Biological Control (CIBC), European Station, an der Austrian Substation in Neulengbach der Tenthredinidenkomplex von Rosa spp. untersucht. Das Hauptuntersuchungsgebiet lag in Ostösterreich.Insgesamt wurden 23 Blattwespen‐Arten gesammelt, die sich auf die Familien der Tenthredinidae (15), Argidae (4), Pamphilidae (2) und Cephidae (2) verteilen.Im allgemeinen Teil der Arbeit werden die Biotopbindung, geographische Verbreitung und Häufigkeit der Arten behandelt und Gelege‐ sowie Larvenbestimmungsschlüssel aufgestellt.Im speziellen Teil wird das über die Lebens‐ u. Schadensweise der gefundenen 23 Blattwespenarten Bekannte kurz zusammengestellt. Zum erheblichen Teil handelt es sich dabei um auf eigene Beobachtungen und Versuchen beruhende neue Ergebnisse.
