Abstract
A list of host species is presented which summarizes flea collection data from 25 of 49 species of mammals and 3 of 247 species and subspecies of birds examined. Frequency of occurrence is indicated for each host-flea association. Fleas were collected during all months of the year over a period of 8 years. Certain ecological factors are briefly discussed and an accounting of 2 species Perognathus longimembris (Coues) and Microdipodops megacephalus Merriam, which were uninfested by fleas, is presented. Keywords
