Abstract
The faunas and ages of ten new graptolite localities in central Northwest Nelson are discussed. They represent the zones of Glyptograptus teretiusculus (Upper Darriwilian), Nemagraptus gracilis (Lower Gisbornian), and Orthograptus (Eastonian to Lower Bolindian). The G. teretiuscullis zone is now known to extend for 30 miles, from Anatoki Peak to Kiwi Saddle. The Cambrian Haupiri belt apparently separates pre-Eastonian and post-Eastonian strata. Keywords
