Abstract
A case involving an abnormally large cisterna magna, recognized encephalographically, is described. The falx cerebri was deficient both anteriorly and posteriorly. The tentorium cerebelli was incomplete transversely and the falx cerebelli was displaced to the left. The anomaly is compared to others previously reported and the normal arrangement of the meninges around the cisterna magna is described.
