Abstract
The electronic-energy-band structure of cubic BN is calculated using a nonlocal-empirical-pseudopotential method. The electronic density of states, imaginary part of the dielectric constant, and soft-x-ray emission spectra are also calculated and compared with available experimental and theoretical results. Keywords
