Abstract
The de Haas-van Alphen effect has been measured in the ordered alloy beta '-AgMg. The relativistic LMTO bandstructure has been calculated, and predicts a Fermi surface in good agreement with experiment. Both bandstructure and Fermi surface are similar to those of other beta brasses with the same number of conduction electrons per unit cell. Keywords
