Abstract
A Dyadic Green's function appropriate to radiation of sources in a uniaxially anisotropic medium is derived in terms of Fourier integrals. The integrals are then evaluated asymptotically using a method recently developed by Lighthill which has the advantage of showing clearly how the fur field depends on the shape of the dispersion surfaces. As RII illustration, the electrical field due to an oscillating dipole is worked out. Keywords
