Abstract
The first observation of acoustomagnetic effects in solids by a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) is reported. In particular, novel SQUID-NAR (nuclear acoustic resonance) techniques have been used to measure spin-lattice relaxation times and to observe the cw NAR in tantalum metal between 1.58 and 4.2 K.Keywords
