Abstract
A time-domain solution of electromagnetic wave propagation in a negative refractive index material is presented. A parallel-sided slab of the medium illuminated with a monochromatic line source is shown to produce a focus on the far side. The result verifies the prediction of a negative angle of refraction presented by other researchers. Keywords
