Abstract
A description is given of Tubiluchus remanei n. sp. (Priapulida), based on males, females and larvae collected from coral sand from shallow water along the Egyptian coast of the Red Sea near Hurghada. Material of the same species had been found but not formally described earlier by Remane (1963). The presence of seminal vesicles and consequently the occurrence of internal fertiliza- tion could be proved for the first time in Tubiluchus (and in priapulids in general). Keywords
