Abstract
For certain power-dispatch and control problems, the use of computers is mandatory. It is suggested in Section I that multi-mini-processors or multi-microprocessors are better suited for these applications than the presently used ``duplex'' systems. In Section II a specific system, the MOPPS, is described and compared to two other recently introduced systems. Keywords
